The answer is not to split up the one consistent area of the bruins forward group.
The perfection line works so well because of the chemistry of the line along with their talent. They should leave Coyle as their third line center because he causes problems as a matchup for other third lines. They should look to trade for a winger to play with Kreci and they should bring up Frederic to play bottom six because he brings some much needed bite to the group. Debrusk is a disappointment, time to grasp that he is not the scoring 2nd line winger that he is made out to be. Haven't heard much about
K. Miller lately but hopefully he can make his way back into the lineup. The bruins have some grit and players like Lindholm etc play hard but more edge is needed. Miller would help. Players like Kuraly, Wagner, Heinen are all useful players that bring needed elements but something is missing. Breaking up the best line in hockey is not the answer. Move draft picks and prospects for a power type forward, move Debrusk down the lineup and play some kids with a little fire.

They need to try something. 1st line will still do fine with Pasta on the 2nd. Teams seem to be shutting down everyone else. Opponents can even limit the "perfection" line... they could not score an even-strength goal against the Oil.
I believe going back to the Washington game (even though we held on) you could see we were manhandled by the Caps. They sent two players out and our bottom of the line up had no response or push back. Same thing would happen against ST. Louis or other skied big teams. If our top line is not on the ice change the channel its a snooze until their shift again. Team is so close make some rumbles everyone under the big three offensive wise should be fair game in the market place.
